I can’t do that because I do this?

(You might be wondering why there is a picture of Popeye in the post, I will explain in the blog.)

“Your Weird!”

“You’re a goofball!”

“Dude, you aren’t suppose to do that your (insert  title here)”

I get that alot, I refuse to follow any guide lines, titles aren’t my thing.

The Bible and the1st admendment rocks!

I’m a Christian but I don’t part my hair to the side or wear ties.

Being a Christian isn’t about ties and how modest you can be. You need to be a witness and showing the world the love of Jesus. I like to call this sheep in wolf’s clothing, people are going to listen to you if you look and act like them.

I’m a metalhead, but I don’t drink, do drugs,  pick up girls, and this kind of music is from the DEVIL!

Nothing I mean and I mean NOTHING is positive from satan. If the lyrics are positive and uplifting, it’s  good. Even if it does have long hair guys playing gutiar, loud.

I’m a hunter but I don’t listen to country music and don’t wear camo everyday.

Lets face it camo is the new black, I’m glad many if my tree climbing brothern are proud to be in the clan, but what about the scent factor? Even if you wash your camo all the time, there is a chance that the scent in the fibers won’t get out and spook the game you are after or your wife washes your clothes in Tide ane throws it in the rest of your camo, I am not going to take that risk.  Oh and about the country music thing, one word…bore-ing!

So I guess if you want to pigeon hole me, I am a Bible readin’ rock and roll hunter, I won’t have it any other way.

I could bust some scriptures out or read on scent control or list all the awesome Christian metal bands that are out there but see for yourself, and be yourself.

I know a vegan hunter, who am I to judge?

Like Popeye says “I am what I am”

Sidenote: I think spinich is tasty, you can say it, weirdo!, I’m use to it.

Everyone should try to be themselves without apologizing. I know I don’t fit any norms but that’s a-ok with me. 🙂 Miss you!
