Great Blog from Reality Pursuits on Scent Spray

I love to read GOOD outdoor blogs,but most of them are well, junk. They talk about how great they, one blog will say where to fish or hunt the next one they are saying something else completely different. What they did, with no information, just ego boasts, product review with no information are and what good they do…blah, blah blah, in a nut shell no information.

The two I really look forward to is Nancy Jo Adams Guru huntress http://njadams1.wordpress.com/ and Reality Driven Pursuits also has a great blog, here is their latest…

Triclosan is a chemical that has been used in many anti-microbial applications. The applications of triclosan are broad and the key ingredient of many soaps, cosmetics, and cleaning chemicals just to name a few. Due to its anti-microbial properties, triclosan is also a key ingredient in many of the available scent elimination sprays on the market due to its ability to kill odor causing bacteria. According to Samuel S. Epstein M.D., “Triclosan, has been shown to produce toxic hormonal effects, known as endocrine disruption, on the development of the thyroid gland in tadpoles, and on sex ratios and fin length in fish. Lab studies on rats have shown that triclosan is toxic to normal liver enzymes. In humans, this preservative has been linked to allergies, asthma, and eczema”. (Citations available) .”
